Perfect for beginners\, you’ll learn the fundamentals of Godot\, its interface and its own programming language\, GDScript\, as we create a simple 3D platforming game. By the end of the session\, you’ll have built a simple game where players can navigate a 3D environment\, jump between platforms\, and collect coins. \n \nYou will need to download Godot before attending this workshop.

Participants will learn the fundamentals and have their own pixel art creation by the end of the workshop! \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFrequently Asked Questions\nHow can I access the workshop? Is it live?\nAll participants who sign up will be sent an e-mail with a Zoom link valid for the date and time of the workshop. It will be taught live. Those who sign up may be given a recording of the workshop if it is being recorded in the form of an unlisted Youtube link. \nIs this workshop right for me?\nHave you ever wanted to make art for games? Then this workshop is for you! Whether you want to make your 2D artwork pixelated like classic games or smoother like modern games\, you’ll learn important skills\, tips\, and tricks for how to make some cool game art.
